Rites Held For G. B. Swan, 86- WAYNETOWN- Funeral services for George Bruce Swan, 86, were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Flanner and Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary, Indianapolis. He died Friday at the Ben Hur Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis. He was a native of Indianapolis, where he was an employee of the Indianapolis Power and Light Co. for 45 years. He was a member of St. Mark Methodist Church. The pastor, Rev. Clark, officiated at the services. Mr. Swan was twice married, first to Jeannette Myers and after her death to Lucille Thorn, also deceased. He and his second wife spent much time here at the home of his son, V. W. (Mike) Swan, and Mrs. Swan, and after his wife’s death he continued to live here until his last illness. Mr. Swan also is survived by another son, W. Stanley Swan of Baltimore, Md., and one grandson, Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Capehart paid their respects at the mortuary and Mr. and Mrs. James Warren attended the funeral.
